October Playscheme

Our first October half term playscheme was a massive success with over 30 children enjoying loads of fun and excting activities over the week, including cooking, bulb planting, face painting and a Halloween party to finish off a great week. A masssive well done to all involved. Comments from partens included "Staff are great  and very helpful" and "A loves all the things to do".  Keep an eye out for our next playscheme - you wouldn't want to miss it!!

Summer playscheme!
Our ever popular  Summer playscheme took place again  here at Woodhouse Park Family Centre. The scheme ra Monday
to Friday from 25th July to 19th August. The playscheme was for children aged 5-11yrs and provided a daily recipe of fun activities, including cooking, den-building, arts and crafts, outdoor games and much more!

Feedback included:

"A feels safe. I feel safe leaving her"

"I wouldn't put my duaghter anywhere else"

"J thoroughly enjoyed his time here. I would love him to come again"

Playscheme is open-access, meaning places are allocated on a first come first
served basis. It is very popular and we do sometimes have to turn people
away, however they will be guaranteed a place on the next session. Please

Charity Night

Our Charity Night on Friday 18th March to raise money for
Playscheme and Community Childcare was a massive success and we raised a grand
total of £1,081. This amazing amount has already helped us run Easter
playscheme and is currently contributing to the set-up of our new Playgroup!

An absolutely MASSIVE THANK YOU to all who contributed to this fantastic event,
including all who attended, bought raffle tickets and were so generous on
the auction and of course to all those companies and individuals who donated
their services or raffle and auction prizes. Your support is invaluable and is
making a real difference right now!
